New Seasonal Selection: Deconstructed “Old Fashioned” cookies

Since cranberries are difficult to find these days, I decided that it was time to put the “Winter Wonders” out of rotation and bring in a new seasonal selection.

Being in Wisconsin, and it still being winter in Wisconsin, it felt like a good time to try deconstructing a classic beverage and turn it into a cookie!

Meet the “Old-Fashioned” cookie. Bourbon (or brandy), bitters, orange zest, orange peel are the flavors that really come through in this cookie.

I ran it by my friends and neighbors, and the feedback was very positive! You’ll definitely want to give it a try!
