So, the market didn’t happen, but…

It’s unfortunate, but the organizers of the Milwaukee Fall Harvest Vendor’s Market communicated the wrong dates and only communicated that error four days prior to when we all thought the market was going to be.

I was out the entry fee, money spent on the tablecloth (that they required), signs, bags, labels, boxes, business cards, physical inventory and plenty of time spent. After multiple attempts to recoup my entry fee, they are unwilling to do the right thing.

My friends, family, fans of my baking and their networks thankfully stepped up. In about three hours, I was sold out of inventory. I acquired five new customers. I also had seven additional orders beyond what I had already prepared for the market.

I love it when a poor situation works out in its own good way! The feedback from everyone has been extremely positive as well. I have yet to get a review that is not raving about the great baked goods!

Thank you to everyone who supported me through that anxiety-filled day and who continue to support me since. Love y’all!
